PLASTIK started life in 2008 as a theatre collective devoted to creating new work for the stage.

Over the years, we’ve evolved and diversified into a creative engine room, developing work for a wide range of clients and briefs.

We know we’re a bit different here at PLASTIK. But we see this as a good thing.

A lot of people are worried about arts funding at the moment, and we share their concern. However, we don’t let it get us down.

Rather, we see it as a challenge.

We believe the arts can be thought-provoking, beautiful and transformative with or without huge financial subsidy.

The important thing is that we persist in making, creating and trying.

At PLASTIK we harness the creativity of our network of artistic collaborators to deliver on creative briefs from our clients.

This way, the work we do for you provides the financial fuel to support the independent creative projects we create (films, theatre, etc), and allows us to work free of funders’ constraints and other bottlenecks that hold back our creativity.

It also means that we develop a dialog with organisations and sectors outside of the arts, opening up opportunities for partnership that might otherwise be overlooked.

We like to offer our clients unique benefits as a way of thanking them for supporting our work.  These include exclusive gala performances and behind-the-scenes access.

Not bad eh?
